CONDUCTOR

David is a prolific conductor and has conducted over 200 pieces for orchestras of all sizes, wind ensemble, chorus, and jazz band, including over fifty premiere performances. He’s conducted at countless venues across the Bay Area from secret live-work artist warehouses to opera houses to The Fillmore.


In addition to live performances, for the last decade David has regularly headed into the recording studio with his group Awesöme Orchestra Collective and others to record an array of projects with different groups, including the popular Bay Area series, Undercover Presents.


He honed his craft at UC Davis for his Master of Arts in Music (orchestral and choral conducting), studying with Jeffrey Thomas and D. Kern Holoman, as well as Dr. Mike Votta and Tonu Kalam while an undergraduate at UNC Chapel Hill. David is grateful to his many teachers for their guidance and support over the years, and happily has a small studio of his own conducting students.
